Distressed Icons

Tonight I took a look at icons for the first time in months, and I felt the urge to do something. I dunno if this means I'll be making icons regularly again, but I certainly hope so. I miss it. I've just been too bloody tired for anything but work and vegging. But that can't be my life. It's too dismal, lol. So I think I'll be making an effort to get back into doing things I enjoy.

And on that note, I give you the first icon I've made in ages.





As always, my attempt at humour crashed and burned...but it's good to know I still remember how to use Photoshop.

This is just a quick bit of information on GIMP's FreeType filter. Somebody mentioned that most new GIMP users (and a few more experienced ones) are unaware of the wonders of FreeType, so I thought I'd write something up on it. Hope it makes sense.
